Semi-Clandestine Ebola Transport Aircraft (Dallas to Atlanta) – Phoenix Air N173PA

The aircraft, a Gulfstream 3, was used to transport the second US nurse diagnosed with Ebola, Amber Vinson, from Texas to Atlanta, GA.  The aircraft has a history of being used for Ebola transport flights outside the CONUS.  It has counterparts in the military but the civilian aircraft is said to be preferred because it is more politically accepted outside the United States.  The flight history, publicly available, does not include the flight from Dallas, TX to Atlanta, GA for Amber Vinson.  The recent flight history does include a number of interesting flights including countries in Africa that are experiencing severe outbreaks of Ebola.
