Listening to the Linux in the Ham Shack and was inspired to try dipping my toe into the APRS pool. My goal was to at least show up on a map with a zero dollar investment. After requesting and obtaining an APRSISCE/32 passcode, downloading APRSCheckIn for my Android phone and browsing to aprs.fi I am finally sending packets over the APRS system. ACTUAL COST $0
